I do SO want to hear what the pant haters have to say about the USA Olympic clothing......come on....let's hear it!!!!

The colors red, white and blue in conjunction with stars suggests the American flag, it doesn't use it.

Let it be written, let it be done.  Chief , I am at our side as an armor bearer.  Some just don't get it or some just don't care.  I join you to say we do care and recognize the sacrifices of some many in the services  and their families to safeguard our freedom, our life.  I was taught  that  the American Flag was a symbol for Americans to rally around. A symbol that stands for One nation under God with liberty and justice for all.

I thank you and your family so much for serving and defending the symbol of liberty and justice for all.

    YJ,

Cmon, man - the pants aren't made out of a flag either, they represent (suggest) one. I know it's a thought-provoking and potentially emotional subject, but let's at least compare apples to apples here, no?

Ask me that again after you decide which picture looks like an American flag.

If that is the logic behind your argument, than neither of them do, as neither of them have 50 stars or 13 stripes.

Again, it is representing the flag, NOT a flag itself; and both of those examples do just that. If it is OK to represent the flag on an Olympic UNIFORM, why is it not OK to represent one on an everyday set of attire?
