New to CC Events? We’ve got you covered with a few things you should know:

• CC Events allow WGT Country Clubs to compete against each other for bragging rights and special in-game rewards

• The club that earns the most points from their Clashes wins

• When your club enters the event, you will match with a club of a similar skill level, and a timer keeps track of how much play remains in that Clash

• Club members from both sides can play as many rounds as they’d like during the play time using Club Passes and Superpasses to earn points

• WGT Country Clubs can use Course Builder currency to create custom courses to play in country club tournaments

Each event contains Club Clashes that last four hours, so keep playing and keep your eyes on the leaderboard!

It’s almost October – here's what's coming in WGT. Spooky season is officially upon us, and we’ve got Halloween items in the Pro Shop and the Trick or Treat Showdown coming soon. Plus, the inaugural First Book Open tournament begins on 10/14, and you'll receive a free hoodie for entering.

If it’s your first time playing in a Showdown, here is everything you need to know.

Qualifying Round

• The qualifying round lasts three days

• Players have a daily chance each day of the qualifying round to secure their spot in the elimination round

• The top 50% of the qualifying round leaderboard advance to the elimination round

• Players that qualify on day one (top 50%) do not need to play on day two or three of the qualifying round

• Players that do not qualify on day one are still eligible to compete on days two or three to secure an elimination round spot

Elimination Round

• The elimination round lasts two days

• Players only get one chance to grab a spot in the final round, unlike the qualifying round

• The top 50% of the elimination round leaderboard advance to the final round

Final Round

• The final round also lasts two days

• If you’ve made it this far, you’ll receive a prize no matter what, but the higher you rank, the bigger the prizes

Other Things to Know

• We base scoring on total strokes, meaning the fewer shots you take to complete your matches, the higher you rank on the leaderboard

• Incomplete or forfeited holes score as bogeys

It’s time to see how accurate you really are. Winner’s Circle is back and heading to Hole 15 at Chambers Bay! Only the best will sink their shots.

If you’re new to Winner’s Circle, it’s simple to play! Just land your ball in one of the colored rings around the hole (or sink it if you can) to win prize chests. Prize chests are color-coordinated with each ring color and include apparel packs, golf ball sleeves and more. All players get one free shot, but you can always buy more for extra chances.

To ensure this is a fair test of accuracy, all players will use designated Winner’s Circle clubs so everyone is on a level playing fairway!

Three things to keep in mind:

• Winner’s Circle is a limited-time event, but any remaining unused purchased shots will stay in your inventory for the next Winner’s Circle event.

• Don’t let the timer expire, or you will lose that shot.

• The only change from shot to shot will be minor wind direction and speed changes.

As you may have heard, we will be postponing the upcoming WGT Live Series tournament that was due to start this week for the foreseeable future. Our hope is that we can relaunch the series in a format and within a budget that best supports our goals of growing the community. We genuinely apologize for the last-minute announcement and are happy to answer any questions you may have. We will keep you updated as we know more and appreciate your understanding! 

What does this mean for the future of Live Series and WGT eSports? Well, we’ll be going back to the drawing board on a couple things:

• Thinking of fresh ideas/formats for eSports and future WGT live streams
• Identifying sponsors for tournaments 

Things we can do in the short-term:

• Partner with the community to run more streams on Twitch or Discord
