Why did WGT take the ball i paid for out of play in the middle of my round?

  SSIA

  I didn't lose the ball. I hit my approach shot just short of the green and then i get a message saying "ball taken out of play"..  And it wasn't just taken out of play and put back in my bag. it disappeared completely.  And this was a ball I paid money for!!!

  Can anyone help me understand why this happened?

  Sounds like your ball ran out of HITS.

   

  Balls have a limited amount of hits to them.

  You paid for a temporary license with your "credits" license, and it expired after so many hits, probably around 90, viewing their low durability of "1".

  On the bright side, the ball still lasted longer than some marriages.
