Hi, I looked around for this for a few days now and I havn't seen anyone mention it, so maybe it's just my imagination. But, I played bp black and got a +1, dropping my average a bit, then played kiawa and got a -1, but it upped my average a little. Is bp rated differently, and therefor scoring higher on bp can actually be better than scoring lower on kiawa? or is this just my imagination?

It has to do with how the average is calculated. It is the best ten of your last fifteen rounds with more weight given to more recent rounds.

So when you finish a round at +1 it may bump a higher score out of the equation. Conversely if you finish -1 it may bump a -4 round out of the top 15.

    Hope this helps.
