  Oh man, I'd read it here already but seeing it written down by Peter's wife really hammers it home.  I can hardly believe it, it feels like a few days ago we played a game together.

  A terrible loss, for all us but of course mostly for his family.

  Rest in peace my friend, you're going to be missed.

  I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and condolences. 

  I heard from Bridget again today  and she wanted to let me know that they had a small private service (just family and a few close friends) earlier today, to celebrate Peter's life.

  I also sent her a link for this thread, so she can read it if she feels up to it. It obviously has been a whirlwind of a dew days for her and Peter's family.

  I raise my glass to Peter - thanks for being a friend.

  Sure am glad i was able to play some golf with your husband, I was not aware he was sick either, Hope the golf gods Make a course just for you Pete. You will be missed....

  Peter loved his cricket, one pf the last things we talked about was the NZ v SA series.....you were right bud.......crushed em :)
