How does the ranking sstem work? When and how do they decide when one becomes pro or any other rank...?
I too would like an answer to this, I just played a Master with worse stats then mine. He went from Pro straight to Master?

This may have been before the change in September. Before that there was no Tour Pro tier you went from pro to master. And many of us struggled greatly when we first advanced from pro to master. So our stats suffered. And if they had played many many rounds then the stats go back up or down in the cases where low is better very very slowly. For me it was a good 3 months after I advanced from pro to master before I felt that I even deserved to be in the master tier. And at that time master was as high as the tier system went. Edit but you should know this already you have been here over a year. You should know how the system worked before the change in September.
Thank you, that makes sense. I now have another question that maybe someone could answer. What does it take to go from tier to tier, is there a formula or a list of requirements that need to be met to advance?
No there is no list. The only person who might know the exact requirements needed for each tier is WGTicon and he is not allowed to tell, to curtail sandbagging. Only WGT know for sure what the exact requirements are. Any one who tells you what you need to advance is just guessing.
