OK so one more question ... my opponent is on the green before me.   I'm chipping from just off the green.   My ball goes in the hole .... he gets Bingo .. I get Bongo .... who gets Bango ???   I assume my opponent because I wasn't on the green right ???

    "NICE B,B,B chess match"

    14 for lvietri - 13 for resozv.

Well played round. That 197 yd. approach, within 2' on 15 was AWESOME! Lucky I made the 6' to get 1.

    I'll post more details later.

COME ON team pick me up! I gave him a run for the $$$.

Game highlight: lvierti hits 197 yd. approach to #15 within 2'. A few putts by resozv kept it close.

Strategy advantage: lvierti; knew when to leave it away. Forced me to make putt or leave a gimme. No way for me to get 2 in that situation. Not that it matters, but 9 hole score lvierti -1, resozv even par

lvierti: feel free to post anything I got wrong in scorecard

as far as i can figure it thats right

so a holed approach shot is not the best shot to play.. hitting the flagstick is the best way to do it lol

Glad you like the spreadsheet score. Nice tournament, lotsa fun. Had to think on a few shots; do I want to be closer here? As you can see L was better at it. Plus I'm not really the one who can call where a shot can/will go. lol Glad I could keep it close for the ROTW against a master. Y'all shouda seen that shot on #15, it was just sick.

Why wouldn't a chip in count as both closest to the pin and first in?

    Punish a good shot?

ok yeah sorry i wasn't thinking. thank you for making that clear.

the only problem is if you both make a chip in who gets closest to the pin?

i guess both get a extra point for the rare situation of chip in.
