What's up with match play points???

  Just wondering if these points mean anything??? 

  Go to your profile, click the stats button, click on match play... bottom of the list has match play points.  I currently have 217 points.  Anyone have more then me???

  Is there some sort of award I can win???  Let me know.  Thanks...

  Hi Kevap, there is no known reason for match play points other than as a way to rate your opponents. Very soon, I'm hoping to start keeping track of total match play points, but because it is still a very early stage in the match play format of WGT, I'm waiting a while to start this (the WGT Match Play Rankings). However, once again, WGT has not announced any use for match play points. Stay tuned though ... you never know what might happen!

  Thanks for the reply... would be great if something did happen soon!  I'm up to 253 match points currently.  =)

  Found this in FAQs.  Anyone know what status is?  Will anything other than braggin rights be awarded?
