    Hi,

So far my handicap has been decreasing for every game.  Today I won a multiplayer game with a score of 3 under par. But my handicap did not decrease.  Just now I played a single player game at par and again my handicap did not change.  Anyone who has had the same problem?

    Tom

Best of par 3 and par 5 courses do not count toward averages.

As said above bop 3 and 5 don't count, the recent ones you talk about were both on bop 5. You also should not think about -3, level par etc. Your average is worked out on scores, as in the number of strokes not how many over or under par.

If you score 38 (or 77) in a ranked round your average will go down and it wont matter if it's +2, +3 or +4.

As just an aside, it's not a "handicap." What you're referring to is simply your average.

Just noticed that Community Help just hit 14000 threads.

Wonder how many of those were questions about averages?

    A lot, Jim!

But it diminished over the course of this year - less new players? - more mobile players?
