It's the same for everyone though. What difference does it make if it's a par 4 or a par 5. We all just play for a score.

we all play it from the same tee yeah dazza me mate, but par 5's are par 5's because you can't reach the green in 2 without wind which this obviously is

all rather pointless - if it was a par 5, 14 under for a 57 - whereas 13 under as it stands is still a 57

No comments from WGT I suppose Marty, instead, we might as well get a ban warn for exposing WGT manipulation of the holes distance.

why should we ban you? you didn't expose anything... if it's a mistake then thanks for pointing out:).

in this case though, I believe it's specifically how we have it setup. Same was for bp and other us open courses, where some normal par 5's become par 4's...

I believe this is right this time, but, I will check. also, us open may use all 4 pins, in real play, we can't... so we likely have longest pins shot to keep it harder...

what about the tee box? it seems we are on the wrong one

i like hitting the shots the pro's hit, it makes it more realistic

the wgt preview video of hole 4 is an interesting watch

    here

there must have been some wires crossed about the yardage of this hole, im sure it would be an easy fix for the programmers

I agree too....   that's the only make or break hole on the course.   It would be a very easy Par 5

luke donald posted this on his instagram, it says 529. it will be interesting to see if it plays 565yd during the us open

I have found another info about this hole but is par 5 at 569yds, so which one is correct?

Maybe here at wgt it was suppose to be par 5 but someone mistyped.

thanks for checking on this, in the wgt preview video for hole 4 the pinehurst caddie says its a 530yd par 4, you might need to check on that too

    thanks
