Hitting them "straight" is one of the primary components that keeps "REAL" golfers from being too successful at this game. Without shot shaping.. cut shots, draws and fades.. NOPE.

This game, thus far, is bent simply on experience. Not real life golf experience.. only virtual WGT experience. Which equates to the fact that you're going to have play hundreds, if not thousands, of rounds on here (and fork out plenty of residual dough) to even come close to mastering this game.

I do enjoy playing it but I won't even go close enough to calling it a "sim" until they at least introduce the ability to apply actual skill to the game. Not just experience and memory. LOL!

    Cheers!

    Hi Complex,

As far as the ranking issue goes in the Master tier - at the moment it really means nothing.

While you are working your way up the tiers then, fair enough, and it may come back to be an issue if they bring in another Elite Tier, or similar.

But as it stands at the moment, in the Master Tier - its not what your rating is, its what score you can post thats more important.

    Cheers Doug
