Seems reasonable, says "Total Ranked Rounds Played" after all.

    saltiresfan:

It will include a few Bo3 and Bo5. I'm just going off the total.

I know those don't count towards your average but I thought they still counted as ranked rounds.

How odd Saltiresfan, so after 371 RR's u made legend.

There must be a miscalculation in there somewhere, what else can it be.

Anyway play a bad round and see what happens to ur average.

I want to stay at Tour Pro until or unless my game improves enough that I can be competitive as a Master.

That is easy to do. Just play "Practice" rounds, or Alternate Shot, Best of Par 3's, Best of Par 5's, skins, etc....games that do not affect your average. Just play those modes until you feel your skill is good enough to advance, then start playing Ranked Rounds again till you advance.

    Cheers....Fairways and Greens

here's one that I don't understand, I'm a pro with a 72.3 ave. I have hardly ever been able to shoot a game with being at least 3 - 7 over but yet my average is well below what I think it should be. what is the deal with that???

    1) only the best 15 rounds count towards a Pro average,
(exceeding this minimum no. of ranked rounds (differing per tier) is called "saturation")

    2) you shot at least 10x 36 and lower (2x for average calculation)

    3) you have match play win(s) against higher tiers - they might push it down considerably.

Not when it comes to average calculation, I assume. This might well offset the calculation - imagine 500 rounds counting but less scores available.

@alosso - I think you're probably right. No idea how many Bo3s I've played though; can't be that many.

I'm afraid not, Andy. How should the math work?

Imagine 100 rounds played to an average of 62.000, grand score of 6200. Add round #101, a Bo3 18 holes score of 50. Now you don't put in the 50, but how do you handle the 101?

    6200/101?

    What else?
