I'm very new to this site and having a problem. If the shot meter reads 30 ft for instance and your shot is 15 ft, shouldn't you go about half the meter to get 15ft. it doesn't seem to work for me or I'm just not doing something right, Thanks for any help

Are you referring to just putts or all shots in general?  For putting, I find that half of the meter is pretty accurate when trying to obtain half the distance, but for irons, this is not always true.  It seems to me that if i use 50% the meter on iron shots, I obtain less than half the distance, but if i use around 75% or more, the percentage is accurate.  What i do is select a club as near as possible to the actual distance and just let off a little bit(just as in real golf).

jguy-The green speed counts and will affect your putt accordingly. Under FAQs look at the Putting Tips-it will show you how to get exact with your putter (pics too.)
