You don't say, but I'm assuming for $50 at your level 82 you are referring to the Ping Bundles? (Which are L59 @ 4845, L69 @ 5495, or the L81 @ 5995).
If so, it's a no-brainer for me to wait one more level and get the L83 bundle. I had that Driver and 3wd and they can EASILY last you through Tour Master. In fact I just upgraded the 3wd yesterday after the free rental. Those irons can last through Tour Master also, but with only a Med-High trajectory you'll eventually want to upgrade those to help hold greens once the winds get stronger and greens get slicker and distances increase. Another good thing about this set would be the 3.5 meter speed, which matches the Vokey wedges you rented, always a good thing to have as closely matched meter speeds as possible.
Looking at your current equipment I see you are renting the 52* 115yd and 64* 60yd Vokeys. If you were to go with the above bundle, I would ditch the Hybrid (too close to the set 3 iron) and get the 56* 100yd and 60* 80yd Vokeys. The 52* 115yd would basically be a wasted club since the set PW goes 110yds. This way you'd have full shots covered at 110, 100, 80, and 60 yds, and even more yardages with punches.
So in the end about +/- $25-30 more than the $50 you mentioned, but those wedges will never need replaced again and the rest can carry you until Legend tier, which will take much longer than you think.
That's probably how I would lean anyway, but I'm sure others will offer other opinions that are probably more astute than mine.
