  If it helps my CC has always used Telegram to communicate with each other as well as Discord rooms to chat whilst playing together.

  I'm sorry pdb1 but, I have to somewhat disagree. In many instances these players are ones finding their way back to WGT and it's not anything like what they left. If they can't find their Profile page or the Club Forum, how can I expect them to go to "My Account" which is even further hidden and check the boxes to receive email notifications. Maybe if WGT turned on all the emails for everyone then yes, that would solve the problem. I prefer to find the best in people and I am willing to do whatever I can to get everyone on the same page.   One problem is/was that email accounts were not automatically linked to WGT accounts. I have known over the years many many players who never had linked their email to their account. Herein lies the problem .

  I think all people need to do is to check a few boxes in their "my account" subtab "contact info".

  The problem is a lot of people could have used some other email account, different from the one they're mainly using, so they wouldn't see the notifications anyway...

  Paul, there are plenty of people, who created a new gmail account to use for game sites, porn sites, online purchases or any other occasion, when they don't want any spam in their main email, which is the one they have signed in on their phone. I'm one of them...
