Not going to bother to play coin rooms, Never fails i get stuck with a hack or a sandbagger. Play legends don't play them because don't like most i have met. ;-)
Number of ranked rounds is irrelevant for coin players to tier up. I have played level 80 Legends with 20 ranked rounds.
Not saying it works for promotion to TL. It works to get to Legend. After that it seems to follow the usual ranked rounds and avg requirement.
It works for TLs and higher!
In the list of TLs from USA, letter "b", there's a TL, L141, with a 150 average. This is typical for the "coin" route.
Worldwide Champs with 150 and 131 averages fall into the same category.

I think you would need same high number Vs TL, C, TC to move your tier.
pdb1:Does it have anything to do with playing Mobile vs PC ?
I dunno...the only people who know for sure wont say.
