Image result for interesting fact clipart

This past showdown included the PGA National course, for the first time in this format. It was part of the qualifying round. According to our sources, the courses were selected by WGTChampion.

Further, our source revealed, as a result of the inclusion of PGA National, WGT set a new all-time record in lost balls in a single day. IN FACT, the number of lost balls was almost double the number ever experienced in the history of WGT. Imagine how giddy they must have been.

Showdowns are enjoyable to many, including myself, but let's not kid ourselves, it is a HUGE cash cow for WGT.

So, next time you want to stick it to the man (WGT that is), and take back the power, do not lose balls. Demand will go down, the number of balls retained by WGT will increase, thereby driving down the price - It's simple economics.

Let's show them, always keep your balls dry and where you can find them.

    LOL Good thoughts, Steff 😆

As far as I'm concerned, I'll keep boycotting showdowns until they fix the three-bogey issue.

I hit a par 3 on PGA during qualify round, first ball goes 20 yds long and splash...shouldn't have went that far but pretty sure I didn't mess up- Hit again taking 15 yds or so off- Falls short in the water...lol

Still have no clue wtf was going on, had to do 2nd qualifier to make cut.

Makes me wonder how far I can hit them with a 3 wood.

I'd bet everything I own that Tiger's wife had those same thoughts.

    2 thoughts about this.

    1. How did you finish in the actual Showdown?

    2. If you had "forfeited" at the 2nd water ball (the rotten 3 bogey rule), would you have ended up qualifying without spending another 10 credits?

From what I saw, there were many very low scores.

(Figured I'd throw this in to upset HandenPro!)
