DanimalSports65:Nothing I would have read on the Forum would have mattered, because it wasn't caused by something I did or by playing up against the deadline -
Except for this and several hundred other comments on these various scenarios .
pdb1: A lot of different scenarios cause these forfeits .
The only way to avoid them is to not play in the event .
If you think you have seen it all . You haven't . Just keep playing . More unique errors are assured .
So you can no longer say that you " didn't see that coming " .
Secondly .
Mythanatos:well that's an internet connection problem. probably on your end. What is WGT supposed to program in?
Not necessarily . I have been paying attention to posts on that matter . And inquiring during the hundreds of rounds that I play .
There seems to be a consensus that even with the best and fastest and highest internet connections . At times there seems to be a hair trigger connection with the servers that very few are completely immune to .
So it is no wonder that the many that don't even know they have mediocre or even weak internet connections ( something they would change if they could ) . Will also experience these many different types of of hair trigger disconnects .
Which everyone knows is not new to PCEA . Was always an issue during the entire lifespan of WGT Flash .
Mythanatos:it matches you up in a game. your connection sucks and somehow they are supposed to interpret your inability to play as involuntary.
There is no way I or anyone else should cop to that one . As I mentioned above . Even the best connections are at times susceptible to the server rejections .
Which the responsibility for lays fully on the developers/hosts to solve and provide a playable program .
Mythanatos:what's your programming solution to that?
Not his , yours , mine , any ones job to find solutions to any of that . It is WGT's job . Period .
