Wondering why I cannot play the free multi challenge. It said I was not eligible to play.

Round 1 scores were due last night at midnight PST because Round 2 started today.  You would've needed to sign up and play before Round 1 ended.

I got caught out also by not reading the finer print. I glanced at the dates Nov.30-Dec4 and thought it would be perfect to play a round Friday and if I made the cut I could play again on the weekend. Oh well. I could wish that the dates posted were not so misleading I guess!

There is no cut-you play 2 rounds in 1 week.

I guess I had the same problem understanding the rules. Oh well, catch the next one.

Actually, when I opened the game screen with all the tournaments, the first one was the multi-round weekly and it informed me that "You missed the cut". I can only say that it was about as helpful as the dates listed for the tournament! IE:Nov.30-Dec.4,Dec.4-Dec.7. All my life I`ve taken that to mean: November 30(thirtieth) Through December 4(fourth) rather than Nov.30 through Dec 3(third).

       Maybe it`s just me, I don`t know. Is a 4 meant to be a 3 these days? I`m getting flash backs of Hendrix`s "If Six Was Nine" song!....I don`t mind...I don`t mind...

PS-I signed up earlier in the week and didn`t attempt to play until it was too late, hence the "missed cut" message( I`m assuming).

It's a good idea to sign up for the weekly free multirond at the beginning of the week. But in general, the signup deadline is one hour before the end of the first round. http://www.wgt.com/news/archive/2009/12/03/december-multiround-tournaments.aspx

    Alex,

To avoid confusion, maybe the dates for multi-round tournaments should not overlap.

Right now, the (end date for round 1) = (the start date for round2).

If one were to wait until Dec 11 to enter the week 50 multi-round open, they would be told that the tournament is closed for new entries.

Hi nasagolfer, we will look into why your screen shows round 1 ending on 12/11... it should say 12/10. Thanks

Just to be clear, every multi-round tournament has the same issue with the overlapping dates that Nasagolfer showed with the graphic from the free multi-round tournament.
