    IrmaLamy:
Waiting on a proper technical answer instead of guessing what can be done and then nothing works again....

Fixed my problem. Took 2 tries, all in the Game Settings. Unfortunately, you can't change that setting on the fly, you have to start a game, see if it's right and try again if it isn't.  :-)

Thanks for those who wrote comments which helped

At the end of the day I managed to get it back working - if 100% best who knows - but I can play.

    Cheers

Hi, I accidently chose the wrong screen resolution, now the bottom part where the meter is has almost vanished, it`s only showing the very tip of the meter (as if the page needs "pushing up"). I can get into setting but the screen resolution word/link doesn`t respond when I click on it, can you help? I`m using a laptop and on windows 10, Firefox web browser.

    Thanks in anticipation!

Don't click on the word 'resolution'. Click the arrows either side of the resolution value to the right.

    ScottHope:

You can find your screen resolution here

Scott, I don't know if you have checked this or not, but.

    My Recommended is 1920x1080

    I run @ 1600x900

In game is set to 1368x768 fullscreen

This says my resolution is 1280x720

Tho I think the ratios are all the same or pretty close, it reports incorrectly.  I didn't change anything to test if it changes, but the number it reports in not correct.

All of this is on a 22 inch wide screen monitor, and in all cases the screen is full, no bars anywhere.  All except WGT and using fullscreen within browsers have taskbar across the bottom.  Any games I run on this computer and Steam fill the entire screen, as I have fullscreen selected in them.  Maybe curious what my Win10 machines reports as I do run it at 1920x1080.

Agreed.  It says my resolution is 1536x864 (huh?), but I have it set in Windows to 1920x1080.  I would trust Windows over that web site.

EDIT:  I think I found the issue.  If you divide 1920x1080 by my text size setting (125% or 1.25), you get 1536x864.

Well I downloaded and tried to install the app . But I forgot what the hot keys were . And I can't find that damn post again . Lol .

Paul, that app was specifically written for Eric, so it might not work for you, but the shortcut keys are..

Alt + b for switching between the screen sizes 1920x1080 and 1024x768

    and...

Alt + x for closing the app.

Gary, Sam is correct in that if you have a custom scale set for your machine (to make the text bigger) then the screen resolution app takes that into account when reporting your numbers.

Thanks for the repiy, it doesn`t allow me to click on anything including the right/left arrows.  The words "resolution" and "game mode" are unresponsive, all the other changes that can be made work fine?
