I was playing a match on Bethpage Black against an unnamed opponent who got off to a terrible start and while lying 5 on the first hole off the green, he disconnected from the game. I played the nine holes without him. At the end of the match, the game informed me that my opponent who had quit on the first hole, won the match because his total score for the match was 5. Want to win a match? Quit as soon as your opponent has more strokes than you do. Sheesh.

It's a known bug, so hopefully it'll be straightened out soon.

Just so you know there is no 'winner' in stroke play games.  It's just for show.  There is no actual record of who wins and loses because win/loss stats are only tracked under match play.

Well ...that's the dumbest glitch I ever heard of then.   LOL   "no winner in stroke play"  but the end of the game shows  the "quitter"  as the winner .....in STROKE PLAY.   LMAO
