  POPPYPEUX:

  my approach to 17 went in from a long way out for eagle.

  ..... I put my approach close hoping to apply a bit of pressure and then BANG ... in it goes from 196 yards!! Great shot and game over!

  Pleasure to play you Poppy, hopefully next time my short game and putting will behave!

  I enjoyed playing this match.  Both of us were evenly matched which made this fun to play.  Ron was a good sport and also a gentleman.

  Paul wins 2 up.  I tried to break his putter.  When he didn't make it, he was close.  His putter got hot on the back nine, I even tried to get him to play left handed.  He said he would probably ding it.  Always a pleasure playing you SEL gents.  I just wish we could win a match sometimes  LOL.  Thanks for the game Paul.  It was a pleasure, and a fun time.  Good shootin and GL the rest of the way.

  Played match with Craig, (CSBARBARIAN), earlier this evening. We both started strong with 2 birds and a par but then things went a bit sideways for Craig after that. I took a 2 up lead into the turn, only to give 1 back on 10, then stretched my lead to 3 up on 15 and closed it out at 3up 17.
  Craig was a great player, hitting approaches that I couldn't believe. On a day when neither of us was playing very well my putter bailed me out and his let him down.  I promised to get champagne and strawberries for my putter if she behaved, so its off to the packy..

  Had a super time Craig and gl to you moving forward

  Group 2.....Round 6.....Match 3

  ttuna1234 vs TSSparky ended in a draw.

  Ttuna played better and deserved the win but the 2 conceded holes saved my butt and got us to a draw.  Enjoyed the match as ttuna is a pleasure to play with and wish him luck in next rounds.
