  Jess and I played our match and had a good chat along the way. The match was settled on the greens. Jess was burning edges and mine were dropping. If Jess’ putts dropped, the match would have likely gone the distance. Well played, Jess, and good luck the rest of the way.

  Group 4  --  Round 6  --  Match 1

  #341 Iron62   vs   #80 islandlar

  islandlar wins 4 & 2

  Started out with me going up by 2 after 3 holes, but Ron got back to AS on the 5th hole.  We were both missing approach shots and putts, so we ended up being pretty well matched on this day.  I got back to 2 up on #9 and then 3 up on #11.  Played AS the next 4 holes until I managed a birdie on #16 for the win.

  Ron is a good player and fine gentleman.  A real pleasure to meet and play.
