uploading a profile photo

  i have trie to upload a profile photo but it doesnt work.

   

  i choose the file i want which is about 448x448 but when i press update it just refreshes my profile page with no changes

  any help would be great

  Don't know what the size restrictions might be, but anyway 448 x 448 pixels is huge!    For comparison, my own Profile picture is 100 x 99 pixels, so choosing dimensions like that might help.

  hi thanks for the input

   

  i have reduced it down to 99x99 and still nothing.. it just refreshes my profile page with the default picture

  I would try another browser then. Maybe this particular browser can't load the picture correctly into the form field and the picture doesn't get submitted.

  hi 

  thanks to WGT i was able to start a new account because stupid me spelt my name wrong when i first signed up.

   

  anyway back to profile pic.. as you can see i found out the cause to not being able to upload. it seemed to not like JPG files so i had to save my image as a GIF file instead
