I broke down and got the new R9 driver in hopes I could reach the fairway on hole 5 and it is actually worse for me now then with a Tour Starter driver.
The reason is with the tour start I was always hitting the sand and have it roll out with the shorter distance of the other driver. Now I shoot pass the trap with the new driver, but short of the fairway and end out in the rough almost everytime on this hole. I guess my solution is to hit the club 230 like the other one and look for the roll, but the point of my buying this upgrade was I thought I would be able to hit the fairway on this hole and am now saddly disappointed.
