Aside from the new "contributions" category in the members list . I have no way of knowing if or when a member has ever even played a round in my C.C.

I suspect many inactive players .  What is needed is a stat just showing date of "last C.C. round played " .

That would be extremely helpful in determining if a member should continue as a club member .

Being that there is unfortunately no way (to make them respond) to get a response individually from club members after messaging each member one at a time .

    Thank you Paul

All you have to do Paul is look in your "tourney results". Also, it has the last date played at the end of the players column.  Plus, you can pull up the player's profile and look at the "score history" under the awards and players golf clubs in use.

Tourney results is a good one thanks . Last date played is WGT not C.C.

I know . The ones that havn't played any wgt are easy to eliminate . The stagnant ones in the club are a little harder to track down .

I have 62 club members of which probably only 10 even participate at all. I couldn't make it any easier for them . I message them ,create tourneys with slower green speeds , free tourneys , etc .

So if they don't want to play at all . Or even have the decency to respond to very kind requests to reply . I even ask them to message me personally if there is something I can do to make a playable situation for them .

After all that and nothing in response at all , it leaves me no choice but to cancel their memberships .

I don't even know if they even ever get my messages .

In fact a couple months ago . there was a guy that hadn't been on wgt for 2.5 months . I cancelled his membership . What do you know he logged in to wgt later that afternoon for the 1st time in 2.5 months and proceeded to cuss me out , up one side and down the other . LOL . I followed suit and let him have it back . I also told him that if he had not have been such an ( expletive ) I would have easily let him back in .

People join and leave clubs all the time and without a word. A non-playing member is no good to a club so they might as well be removed.

Right now I have 31 members and maybe 12-14 play regularly....When your membership is below 100, its very hard to get a high play percentage like Ms Courteney can.  At the lower member clubs, the ones not playing are more glaring than in a club of 250 members.

My club members had this same discussion a few days ago.  As I stated to them, when you're just getting started, cutting members not playing is really not an option.  Most  people look at the club size, and if you get 31 members and you have to boot, oh say, 6 members...that's a big step back in non members eyes.  Us as club owners understand that, no matter how hard you try in a smaller club..  If you demand all your players to play in a couple tourneys a month or they have to leave, they'll leave, and then once again you have to search out players who can and are active. Which, goes back to my previous statements, very active players would rather join an established club, rather than come in on the ground floor of a new club with low membership.

    I appreciate your point .

This is not that new of a club . The issue has been going on for some months now .

What I think I'll do is go ahead and cut 50% of them . Leaving the club with approximately 30 plus members .

Its great that you say you can have a discussion with your members .

Even if I could communicate with them . They don't have enough consideration to respond in any way . You might say they are completely disrespectful . Therefore they havn't justified any sort of honorable desire to be a part of something that I want more from .

It will be no loss to me . Just disappointing .  If some of them have a problem with it . They are welcome to go find another club to not participate or communicate in .
