Club Distance

  Is there a bug with club distance?  I'm playing with the standard clubs and at least twice during my round (playing Bethpage) when hitting the ball out of the fairway and hitting it perfectly, my ball flew more than 30 yards shorter than it should.  I thought I could chalk it up to hitting uphill, but it has also happened on flat holes.

  Is this a bug?

  I've been experiencing the same problem.  Had to withdraw from a CC tourney because of the inconsistent club distance.   

  ex1:  Had a 8MPH tailwind at BPB #2 , pin was playing at 165 yds,  I'm in the fairway and dinged it at 160 yds.....result: ball traveled 134 yds and short of the green.

  ex2: Same thing at Kiawah #1 yesterday.   Headwind 5 MPH, 134 yds out,  dinged it at 136 yds with a result of only 120 yds.

  There's been a lot more.  Even the new Celtic Manor CTTH is off.   First 4 holes my shots came up 20 to 30 yds short.
