And I'll guarantee the majority of players that struggle don't appreciate just how many variables there are. Gamers go nuts because 2 + 2 isn't equaling 4 but golfers can appreciate how really difficult it is to execute a shot unerringly. There are so many things to consider when making a shot and rare is the individual that can get them all right, every time.
For someone that says they might not understand the technical end, you have the right stuff to be successful and that is a positive view.
