     When i logged on yesterday to WGT a big animated banner said 'play now' or something....Now i cannot play 9 holes what do i click on??

    Click the "PLAY NOW" button on the left hand side of your screen. This will launch the game client. From there, under Single Player, select the Kiawah Island Course. This will allow you to play 9 holes tee to green. Does this help?
