    does anyone know how to get out of a bunker on st andrews when its stuck on the wall of the bunker

    Physically move the aimer to point backwards, sometimes sideways works,  out of the trap and use a high loft wedge.

    There was a poster a short while ago that asked the same question but argued it to be unrealistic for the game. Supposedly, buried in the side of one of those pot bunkers you have the option to declare it unplayable and drop IRL. If you picture it, it really would be unplayable because you aint flopping it out anywhere from a 50-60% lie in the side of a hill-LOL. Quirk of the game...........

    Get Bill Murray from Caddyshack and let him and his mole blow up the damn thing. Been stuck there hacking away a few times myself.

    Also, keep in mind the yardage marker will only show 5 or 6 yards max distance. Judge your yardage and direction accordingly. Usually 50% power with a lofted wedge like the others described works for me.

    hey ive played those bunkers  at  st andrews  and ya  correct a lot of em  you  have to play out  at least sideways  and  sometimes  backwards  they are  frightning  but thats  what makes links golf  the  real deal that it is
