  It appears the procedures have changed for joining a club. It's been so long since I joined/started a club, that I'm now unfamiliar with the steps.

  I tell prospective members to click on "Country Clubs", then look for a "join the club" button.

  I haven't seen the "invite" option for months. Wha happened?

  First post for me, so please excuse the "dumbness" of question.  I belong to a level 5 country club but want to join another similar level club (I've been invited). As I understand it, I need to resign from 1st club prior to joining 2nd club. Upon joining 2nd club, will I automatically have the putter-pal and shot-pal features?

  Yes as long as the club is above L4

  You are correct that you need to leave your current club before you can join a new one.  By now you may have received a number of invites, but if you are interested, check out Doc's Place.  Invite sent.
