I have pretty much bowed out of posting anything in the forums, since I always call a spade a spade and often it gets me in shite.I have played with Tom and would have never picked him out of a crowd as a cheat. Yaknow... You just get those vibes sometimes as to who is for real and who is not.

I can honestly say that if WGT ever banned me for cheating...which is highly unlikely cuz my game sucks and ding % is likely 50'ish I would never darken their door again! That is one huge insult to a mans integrity to overlook and would never be forgiven by me. My gut says this was a lynch mob attitude and the decision was made by a few chit-for-brains punks during a game of ping pong  ( Hang on to that image that just popped into your head...)  Andyson ???  Make it happen .     ;)

With all that said, I am likely in shite again with somebody......Oh well    Fk 'em.

Thanks to all for your support.  The very few negative comments are to be expected when one considers the source, but they only serve to magnify the significance of the supportive ones.

    Q-up!

I am not trying to judge anyone.  Please don't take anything I am about to say as a judgement.

Now questioning WGT's actions, just might be a different story, or truthfulness of said story.

This situation on high ding rate and banning just doesn't make sense.

What do we all do here and WGT advises us to do and for what purpose?

We clear caches, change browsers, optimize our computers, make sure we don't have other programs running in the background.  For what reason?  Smoother meter. Why do we desire a smoother meter.  So we can hit the DING..  We can buy clubs and balls with slower meter ratings.  We can buy a focus boost.  For what reason?  To make it easier to hit the DING..  So to say ban for hitting the ding at too high of a percentage, just doesn't make sense

Oh, right, I forgot.  The reason behind all of the above is to make the game play better. To stop freezes, disconnections, slow loading, and generate income for WGT.  But not for making the meter better.  Heaven forbid, doing that might make us ding more often and now we are all under suspicion.

Usually it can be said if it walks and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck.  I am not so sure on this topic.

Gary, your post makes perfect sense, and it's essentially what's got us scratching our heads...a player is penalized for being good at something that's encouraged.

I won't rehash the details, everything is on the table now and open to public view in this thread.

The player in question worked hard to attain a high level of competence and was assumed to be cheating by the powers that be.  The problem is that their assumption is based on a faulty premise.

All that we can do is to appeal to their sense of fairness and decency and request a second chance for our friend and clubmate.

Since I am in chit anyhoo..... With all due respect to the friends and members of a fine club, has anyone asked the player accused if he would ever return even if it was offered ? It is admirable to defend someone who has been burnt at the stake but a return at this point is unlikely I think.

If I was wrongly accused of anything I would drop the gloves...right now. If accused and guilty...I would simply bow my head and apologize.  The mail from WGT stating the grounds for dismissal is sooooo fkn lame.. btw.

    All dead right.

Without rehashing, again, everything remember the best known Mr Otto is poor at this, so they take it  upon themselves to work out that therefore he is using a new breed super one. They ask him and he says pardon, and so guilty.  They are presumably oblivious to what is really going and what people are really using?  Apart from the obvious 7 irons going 300 yards ones Of course.  The only real question on the latter is how on earth they took so long getting to it.

We all welcomed the new sweeps, but that was on the basis they has some understanding of how their product works.  Clearly whoever is doing this does not, and was banned with the most inane rubbish reason invented.  The credibility of WGT is at an all time low IMO.

The new sweeps can only catch genuine people being honest, and is no good against what the real cheats are doing it seems - could not write it.  Except of course they did write it

Clearly and concisely WGT, in writing, summarised its complete lack of knowledge about it's product and how ineptly they are handling things (page 6 ? this thread).

Where is senior management to sort this mess out that some juniors (going by their officious attitude and all round ineptness) have caused ?

Probably not half as much as us :)......

We could not stand by and watch this crap go down without the community at least knowing what damage twerps can do.  We never wanted it this far, and now we hope someone senior at WGT can sort it whilst here.

    We do appreciate your support.

When the security sweeps were first announced the vast majority, if not all, welcomed the news. A fair and even playing field !!

To WGT's credit they kept these "security sweeps" secret. Me, like most I'm assuming, thought that the reasoning was so that people would not and could not circumvent and manipulate what they had put in place.

    How wrong could one be.

I can only assume (well its more than an assumption) that the real reason was because they had no real way of detection but rather just assumed ones play i.e. cheating or fair play based on some data collected over a set period of time. Then based on that data collection (and comparing that to other players) made assumptions on whether one was cheating or not !!  Really?? What a sham !!

With no proof, no evidence, no detection, and most obviously, no clue in how the game is played, accuse one of cheating and tarnish one's name based on assumptions and %. Give me a break !!

I recall that one particular person in the security sweep thread, repeatedly asked about "proof or lie", and was vilified and chastised repeatedly, you must have had a crystal ball, how correct you were !! So to you WGT I ask "proof or lie"? Your silence in this matter is astounding, given that the vast majority need to take this upon themselves to right a wrong !!

@mkg335 you mention "All that we can do is to appeal to their sense of fairness and decency and request a second chance for our friend and clubmate". Well, unfortunately if there was fairness and decency we would not find ourselves in this situation !! Don't hold your breath.  Plus, not to sound picky, but "request a second chance" !! Second chance for doing what?? Should be receiving an apology at a minimum. It about time someone called it as it is, I total stuff up (being polite).

WGT, you talk about fair play, even playing field, honesty, decency and giving people the opportunity and benefit of doubt. Well fairness and decency swings both ways, you lead the way and the rest will follow !!

Hope wasn't to harsh but if you deem to ban me in the name of "fairness" so be it, refund my credits that I purchased not so long ago, fair is fair after all, opps my bad, I know that I shouldn't expect a refund "in fairness and in all honesty", after all we are at your whim !!
