I too would like to take the time out and wish every fellow golfer a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. And also to the WGT staff. From the game developers to programmers right on down to the janitors at the WGT offices. Lets all have a very Merry Christmas and if your going to be drinking please don't drive drunk. Be safe out there.                                                                        Yoda

I too join in the Good Will of this post and wish everyone at Wgt and the community gathered around it, life fulfillment in the year to come. The year 2011 in the Common Era.

For those celebrating Christmas and or the Holiday season, a time of joy and peace.

On an international site, where people of many nations meet and socialise, it is great to acknowledge that for Christians around the world this is a profound time as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ

As a Christian I pray that this may be a time when we come to appreciate more deeply the faith we celebrate and that we with all humanity can find the way that truth and love will one day be shared by all the people’s of the world

In saying this I acknowledge the great diversity of belief, faith and culture amongst the peoples of the world and that we share a common commitment to finding the truth of life together.

As a militant atheist, I too look forward to a world of peace, love, and especially truth, ie the abolition of all spiritual delusions and an acceptance that is up to humanity to progress due to its capacity, rather than assuming some "divine intervention" is gonna make everything all good.

In saying this I make the assertion that any other position is pointless, degrading, and completely counter-productive to any human advancement.

A peace loving militant atheist, seems you like paradoxical logic too Lol

Your generalisation that all religions believe in divine intervention hardly fits the diversity of humanities religious experience.  Similarly, delusion is not only found in religion

The spirit of God is alive in the one who excepts it. God is only dead to the person that rejects his saving grace. Woe to the person that separates themselves from the living God. You'll have an eternity to think about your decision.

"But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you". Romans 8:11 (AKJV)

Merry Christmas WGT and my fellow golfing members.
