Man I must realy be getting old. I can't remember what the thread was about and I see it's gone. What was the OPs point?
On your Cards do like I do-laugh at spring training. Typically the Yanks play .500 or less and it means squat. I get a kick out of the guys that know they're not making it to the big club but still perform their rear's off. Then they show up in the regular season and you remember them.
I'd be more worried about Albert sitting out for a stiff back. Not a good sign.
I got a laugh out of it, no worries!
I find the pack mentality around here incredible as well. Most times half of the responses don't even take in to account a suggestion, they are there just to smash someone without even considering their opinions on most topics.
Heh-You saw what the Yanks did to red and white uniforms-you sure you want some of the same? LOL
Barring injuries I really think the Yankees are on the verge of another multi-year run because their 'tudes are in order and there are no egos. Should be a decent year. I'll be listening to the Cards' game today-MLB Gameday audio. For $20 I can listen to any game live during the year on my computer and play golf at the same time! Woohoo.
Some people are truly beyond help, what a shame.
I'm really tired of the pointless illogical babble in the forums and the "this game sucks" threads which never make a single valid point. Guess it probably wont change anytime soon and I'll have to try harder to ignore it, even if they lock a dumb thread like that another will just pop up I suppose. Ah well, sometimes I just have to point out the obvious anyway, and in this case, the poor girl is totally lost!
Thanks for the well wishes and GL to you too, should be quite a game!
Cheers
J
Yeah, that was one of first things I asked about but unfortunately that's a luxury feature at the moment and forum development is at the bottom of the to-do list right now. As it sits the forums work pretty well, so they want to concentrate on finishing the foundation of the game before circling back for the little things.
