    1. When I am released to the wind, you look away and pretend,
but it's your friends that I will send away.

    What am I?

    2. What goes around the world but stays in a corner?

Time for me to stop this, I'm sure the right answers will be obvious.

    DodgyPutter:

    Your dentist.

The answer to #1 is a fart, #2 is a postage stamp.

    This one should be easy...

I live in a square house with a window in each wall.  All four windows face south.  Where do I live?

    YankeeJim:
There was one similar where a guy was found hanging from a ceiling beam in an empty room with a puddle under him. The question was how did he do it.

Thats the one Yankee, no chair or stool to fall off of.

    SweetiePie:
Which is sad...best Ribs south of the Mason-Dixon....You are the winner..well done!

Wow, I can't beleive I got that one. Aparently you are from "The good ole south"

By the way my name is Joe or Pee, either is fine with me.

I'm going to have to go  hitcthiking  about the galaxy and visit "DEEP THOUGHT" for the next one I put out here.

Thanks for all the great contributions all. Keep em coming.

I think I need to clear something up before it comes up.

In an earlier post I paired a few players with the term omnipotence.

This was meant towards their genius in their postings and not a swipe at any of  them.

I consider myself lucky to have seen some of the amazing things they do here.

Most of it is quite difficult . I am humbled in their presence.

I also aspire to become 1/2 as good as they are with their designs, someday, maybe

So plaese take no offense in what I posted. If I mean to offend you, I'm pretty sure you'll know it, and I'll be bounced for it.

Thank you DodgyPutter. I did not see your reply. Now I will remember it for at least 20 minutes.

Literature enthusiasts will remember this one ...

    Alive without breath,
    As cold as death,
    Never thirsty, Ever drinking,
    Clad in mail, Never clinking,

What am I? And more points for anyone who can describe the situation which led to this riddle ...

    thinks an island is a mountain;

thinks a fountain is a puff of air.

So sleek, so fair! What a joy to meet!

We only wish to catch a fish,
    so juicy-sweet!

and then he ate it straight from the water. oh! more likely in the dead marshes where there weren't any.
