You are taken to a room in which there are two doors.  Behind one door is unlimited treasure, behind the other is a beast that will kill you.  There is a guard in front of each door.  You are told that one guard always lies but the other one always tells the truth, although you aren't told which is which.

You are allowed to ask one and only one question of one of the two guards.

What question will you ask and then what will you do?

If I asked the other guard which door led to treasure what one would he say?  then go through the one he he dosen't indicate. (truthful will tell the liar will say the wrong one, liar will say the honest one will say the wrong one)

you ask 1 guard, "if I were to ask the other guard which is th correct door, what would he say"? Both would give the same answer, which would be the correct door

A man rode into town on Friday. He stayed for three nights and then left on Friday. How come?

You've asked the right question, but when you get your answer you must take the opposite door...do you see why?
