"And to the plunk who mentioned the Quran is filled with hatred. Well, wake-up call. Every religious book is "filled with hatred"

I'm that "plunk"? who wrote that, although the quote is not precise. You obviously did not read the topic of my reply....freedom of expression, the right to "burn a book", regardless of its context. You see we Americans still have that freedom. Look at your country's rights and tell me YOU still have them!

On the other hand, you pacifist liberals would give away that freedom so as not to offend someone. You state quotes (miss quotes I may add) of a book you obliviously have not bothered to read. But now your an "expert".

All I can say to you and your ideologies is...... "Liberalism is a mental disorder"

Now David... be careful, I'm a liberal and believe it's your right to burn anything you want to... as long as it's your property and doesn't destroy property of anyone else or affect the air they breathe.  It's a strong way of making a political statement.  Go for it.

You can burn the Quran, the bible, the flag, a marshmallow or even your golf bag for all I care.  Just don't burn bridges...

richardjohnmott....I did not take any offence with your views, as you have that freedom to express them. God bless America....please Lord don't forsake us for our weaknesses. No harm, no foul rjm......David

As a die hard constitutionalist doubleman I will staunchly and whole heartedly agree with you. Might be the only thing I agree upon with a progressive but on this we speak with one voice!

there are good people in this world who do good things....and bad people who do bad things.....but for good people to do bad things,  takes religion!!!!

if the future of man/womenkind is based on stories of the past...then god help us all!!!

religion should be abolished!  rip all those who have horrifically died in the name of it!

Ahh nick, religion has done good and bad, another great thing is freedom of religion and the inherent right of government to stay out of religion. I tend to know in the last 75 to 100 years Ism's have killed more people than religion probably has in the last 300 years or maybe they are tied. You know Socialism, Communism,  (Mao 17-25 Million, Stalin 23 Million, Kim Il Sung 1.6 Million, Pol Pot 1.7 Million) Nazism (Hitler 17 Million), Fascism (japan 5 Million)......etc. I am sure you understand what I mean. A great wise man once said that government is not the answer to our problems, government is the problem! I am not a religious man but I do believe ism's should be banned first...

Let's not forget the most recent mass murderer, Saddam "Insane", and the next one in Iran who condemn "infidels" (Christains and Jews) to death for what their religion teaches. Open your eyes world, the serpent is at it again, deceiving all who are blinded by the same old lies. Hey Sarg....I believe that great wise man you refer to was Thomas Jefferson. Amazing what was professed over 200 yrs ago is still a plague we deal with today. Anyways, need to watch 2nd half of the Michigan/Nortre Dame game. (21-7 Wovs) Go Blue Go!!!!

What's the United States in the past 50 years at so far?  Have we broken 10 million civilians yet, or do we still need a few more years?

Also, the RCC has killed the entire population of Europe over the past 1,000 years, and you can't really mention Nazism without mentioning the RCC either.
