  whats the point in buying a avatars for other than the looks ?

  What's the point of spending 3x more for a certain colored ball... when there are white ones that have the exact same characteristics?..... 

  It's revenue, my friend.  There are those on this site who don't mind paying a bit extra to be different.  They get to be different and WGT gets a little extra cash.

  It's a win-win.  You don't HAVE to buy it.. but you can if you WANT to buy it.
