Really guys,   no gifts needed ......it just nice to finally have some decent conversation going in the forums

It's the thought that counts, but gift's will not be turned away ;-)

    hpurey:

Last couple of rounds that I shot -3 didn't touch my average tho.

-4 or better to get it to budge a little.

Your lucky Hp as if i hit -4 my average doesn't move me 1 ioata :( i need -5 or better just to move .2,although i hit my 1st 28 on yes you guessed it St Andrews front and it moved a whopping .16 off my average lol.I would also like to get to the legend tier just for the new challenge and to prove all the time and efort i've put into the game(well mainly the last 3 months when i was a tp and decided i wanted to become better)

Iv'e just bought the burner2.0 irons 2 days ago to help me get there, which it hopefully will when i get the yardages down.So in theory it is a new challenge for me as i've got to re-learn my iron shots again, although i need my putting to get better as i'm leaving so many birdies out there by 6-10" i would love to join the race with you and Sgt but being on 62.76 i will fail dismally lol

Maybe not, Russell. That last few tenths of the average is a bear to get so you might have a shot. I'll throw you in the mix-see if you can beat them there.  ;-)

Well, they both talk pretty good anyway but now they're facing the walk to back it up. I mean, c'mon, one guy roots for the Tigers and the other guy has a funny name.

Not that that all means anything but it was funny to say.  ;-)

    Cleworthy:

I tell you, right before I turned legend I was smokin' the TM tier.  The game had become pretty easy.  ... now not so much.  It will be a big adjustment - 300 yard par 3's, 590 yard par 4's, 600 yard par 5's.  No more wedges into greens I can tell you.

590 yard par fours?! Serious? Gulp.

    OK, I exaggerated on the par 4s, so in the interest of accuracy (sometimes a rare commodity, myself included :-o) I did a quick survey.  Here are the 7 longest par 4s at the legend tier: #15, Oak - 499 yds; #12, BPB - 504; #11 CCC - 507; #10 BPB - 508; #17 SA - 515; #18 CCC - 520 (plays downhill); and the longest: #7 BPB - 525 yds.

Because of persistent strong winds on SA, 17 gets my vote as the most difficult par 4 at the legend tier.

My apologies for the previous misstatement.
