  World Cup Quarterfinals Match 4
  Alphadites vs Cobra Kai 1 #267 Shankette defeated #47 Young46 3 and 1 despite Young's HIO on #9. 

  I managed to hold off a strong challenge with an eagle on #12, then a run of birdies including a critical 26 ft putt on #15.  I was able to seal the win with a heartbeat tee shot on #17.  Medal score was -16 for 17 holes. 

  I feel that I played over and above when we needed it most, and against one of WTG's best.  Awesome game, Jason!

  I seem to bring out the best in my opponents.  Played WhirlawayNow and it was a great match and even til 12 when wgt vem made an ugly entrance.  A chip in on 15 sealed the deal and I got beat 3 and 2.  I think he was 11 or 12 under at that point.  Great match and great shooting.

  Played my QF fixture againts hernanopsina, was a total pleasure to meet, talk(me in bad Spanish) & play with a gentleman & a terrific player. Senor Hernan made some amazing putts from way downtown but he also had many lipouts and bad luck.
  
  Despite my having the advantage of having superior kit & ball, he could have beat me with a bit of putter luck.
  
  Thanks for the great game Hernan and good luck to The Penalty Box team as well.
