  Wk14 18Hole Single Play

  Bogey1st,Birdie2nd, Bogey3rd, Birdie4th, Par5th, Par6th, Birdie7th,Bogey8th,Par9th. Tired after that Front Nine... Pheew. 

  Back Nine was an unspectacular. Disgusted with my miscalculation to the green on 18, I rolled to the bottom of the Fringe, 22ft away, and after a Bryson moment, I sank the recalculated putt now at 31ft for birdie to finish at

  Pat and Mike were still sleeping off the March 17th binge, so I was without caddies this time.  Gosh, aren’t there any other courses to play here, wgt?  This is three times on Erin Hills in about 7 weeks, and I swear the rest were at Chambers Bay.

  Oh well. . . 65 for me this time.  No sand, no brush, no rough, no 3-putts.  But the 1-putts stopped dropping on the B9, so 2 failures to birdie par 5’s there.  63 would have been nice.

  a very poor and lay round on my part for wk14. 

  Long day at work and I made the mistake of playing when I got home. Ran out of balls on the second hole and played the round with Rocks.

  By the end of the 5th hole I just wanted it to be over and played the remainder of the round by feel.

  You bet! Just start playing the weekly 18-HOLE SINGLE PLAY tournament each week, and report your scores here. It's is that simple. The original post has a few more details.

  I see you already have several qualifying scores in your score history. So your handicap will already be established. As soon as you post a score here for this week (Wk 14 18-Hole Single Play) I will add you to the leaderboard. Enjoy!

  I took a nice walk on Erin today with the intention of going birdie hunting.  I was fortunate enough to find 5 of them on the front 9 and was feeling good.  I missed two short putts for birdie on the start of the back and thought here I go letting them get away from me.  I wiped the putter clean and managed to find another bird on 12.  Then went par on 13 and 14, once again wiped the putter off and strung 4 more birds.  Finishing at 62 on Erin smiling all the way to the club house and feeling good with the hunting.

  WK14 Erin Hills, ho hum 73.

  I thought I played pretty well, but couldn’t score. That is typical Erin Hills for me though. Only excitement was two 20 ft hard breaking birdies that I thought I had no chance at. Guess it was the Erin paying me back for the 4 footers I should have made but missed.

  8 birdies and 1 bogey. Very comfortable pars as the birdie putts slid by the hole.
