    Wk 14 18 HSP Erin Hills - 66

    Typical EH round for me, hit the fairway, hit the green, miss the first putt, tap in par!

    AAARRGGGHHH, then I go to Twitch and watch the big dogs nail every one one of those putts I miss. That's why there is bourbon in my morning coffee.

    Oh, what might have been.

    I was rumbling along quite nicely at -9 after 13 holes, and then one loose shot and a bad bounce served me up a double bogey and that kind of blew the wheels off my wagon. 

    I clawed back the dropped shots but couldn't improve on that, so finished with a 63.

    One round down and three to go! We are off to BOP 4 for round two.

    The first round had a couple players really go low, with my good friend Louis (aka mingos01) shaking off his post flash blues and jumping to the top of the leaderboard, and diehard4793 leading the chase. There is a lot of golf left in this tournament!
