  Have courage, mon ami.  I think that just puts you down to -5, with 2 more rounds to go.  Anything can happen, though of course I am rooting for Marc and Jodie, too.

  lipped birdie putt on 1, birdied 3, 5 and 6 rimmed putts on 7 & 8....rimmed meaning both putts rimmed nearly 360º and came back from where they came from.

  Birdied 11, rimmed 12.  this one only went about 270º around the cup

  13, I hit 127 with about a 50º right to left tail wind, ball flies 140 yds into the back trap= double bogey

  Birdie 17 then hit a 3 iron 242 yds into a 10 wind on 18...crappy pitch....crappy putt...bogey

  67 on Merion for me. 

  shoulda stayed in Vegas!   hahaha

  Half way through round two of the Tour Championship and marcfive has a very small lead. HIs incredible 66 on this tough course is 3 strokes better than SamSpayed's 69, and they are currently the only two players to break par at Merion.

  There are 4 more of our leaders yet to play round two. Will they be able to keep pace? Will someone else step up? It may be November in Pennsylvania, but things are heating up on the golf course here at Merion.

  After a disappointing round last week I was needing something special this week & then the course details were released....Merion aaaaggghhhhhh. Just what you don't want when a good score is required. I've been hitting them pretty well lately though & starting to really notice it starting to show on the scorecard (For anyone below L97 believe what you read & the L97 Cally's really are a game changer) so off we trudge to the first tee feeling a bit apprehensive but hoping to do well.

  Off to a good start with a nice Par & then survived the stretch of horror holes to get to the 7th tee still at Par & then it started to feel like I was in the zone with birdies on 7,8 & 9 to turn at 3 under & feeling good. 

  The back nine started with birdies on 10 & 11 to stretch the run to 5 in a row before lip outs on 13 & 14 with the latter being the one & only blemish on the card but got it straight back with birdies on 15 & 16 to sign off on a 6 under 64 & one happy little Aussie battler.

  Bring on next week.
