the last two or three games that i played, my opponent has quit and i have gone on to finish. when i finish the announcement comes up that my opponent has won because he has a lower posted score. therefore i receive no credit for completing the game

Just happened to me and two others. It was a foursome, and the guy who quit after two holes was declared the winner with a score of 9.

I also had the same problem. I just shot 3 over at Bethpage, putting my brains out to save pars all over the place, only to see that my opponent shot 21 and won the match after quitting after 3 holes. That sucks!
