I was playing a match play today, I was on the 16th hole up by 3, and we are dormie.
My opponent had a one foot put to halve the hole at par, which would effectively lose him the match. After a minute he types that he stroked his putt and the computer froze. I waited about another minute of nothing happening and then closed my browser window being careful not to forfeit.
I then immediately reopened my browser and logged back on to WGT, I was informed that I had lost the match and the game was over. I didn't get a 5 minute window to rejoin the game as I had grown to expect.
I am curious about this and would like to know your take on it.
