I've just upgraded my iMac to the Snow Leopard operating system (Mac OS X) and Safari 4.0.4.  The movement on the hitting bar used to be quite smooth.  Now it is jerky - stop and go.  Impossible to get the timing I used to have.  It's very hard to execute a good shot.

Has anyone else had this problem?  I thought everything would be better with the latest operating system.  Is Snow Leopard worse?  Or does it not support the WGT display?

    Any help out there?

By "hitting bar" I meant swing meter, of course.

Have you tried clearing your Flash cache after the upgrade?

If that still doesn't help, maybe try to reinstall the Flash player client.

Sorry, that's all I got since you're on a Mac OS.

    Alex-

I called Apple.  They suggested downloading Mozilla Firefox.  I did - and it works great!  No stuttering.

So the problem appears to be with compatibility between WGT and the latest version of Safari (4.0.4).  I don't know if this means a fix is needed for you, or for them, but Apple has been advised.

Anyone else using Safari 4.0.4 having stuttering problems on the swing meter?

One more thought - Safari works better if you select 32 bit.
