Hi there - 'dormie' showed up when my opponent was 2 down with 3 to play... he had just won the previous hole, I'm speculating there is a bug there?
Yes, there's definitely a Dormie bug. Same thing happened to me as well, except it was a lead by 5 strokes, I think, with 6 holes left to play. The Dormie alert appeared 1 hole too early.
I haven't seen this before in my match play it has always seemed to display properly. I did think it was inappropriate that the WGT posted me as dormie on the first tee in a match with TIbbets though, I mean they were right but don't rub it in. J/K haven't played Tibbets yet and look forward to being beaten 6 and 4 when I do.

Not even Tibbets can do that in a 9-hole game, but 5 & 4... why not?
