  Has any one else experienced wrong math?  Im 240 out want to get to 77 yards!  hit the ball straight 162 and still have 90 yards in??  Just wanted to throw that out there!  Keep it in the short grass!!!  Norm

  I'm thinking there was a dogleg involved.  The 240 is as the crow flies.  You played left or right to account for the angle and ended up farther away than expected.

  What kind of chef?  Which restaurant?

  Lot of factors ... wind, landing into an up slope, backspin, and i'm thinking your 162 is something less than a full iron( which is always a bit of a guess).. and figure in the precision of the club itself. Any or all of those are going to make you scratch your head, sometimes.

  I thank all of you for the responses!  I think DMM was right it was the 2 nd hole at kawahi! I was on the right side of the fairway, hit it to the left of the traps!  And I used to work in restaurants but now "retired at 36"  pursuing a golf instruction career!
