    That doesn't even sound good.

Nope, pepperoni.  7-11 doesn't have a large selection of toppings.  It's pepperoni or cheese.

A simple concept, It's not rocket surgery

Heh. I don't think a scalpel and forceps would be much help on a rocket. The science might, though.  :-D

Brain science or rocket surgery, that's a whole different kettle of ballgame.

Hope that helps....No? Ok I'll explain.

I take 2 phrases, take a bit from each and the resulting juxtaposition of words leads (sometimes) to a humerous new hybrid phrase...

A bird in the hand never boils.

A watched pot is worth more than a bird in the bush.

Yes, it is silly, I know but what do you expect? Look who posted this $hit!

For the first time since I started working at Wal-Mart I didn't have to work Thanksgiving night because of early Black Friday sales. Nice to stay at home on Thanksgiving for a change.

Understood the above as soon as I'd read it.

Wouldn't worry 'bout others getting it though. You know what they say:

    Empty vessels spoil the broth.

Scots mix and match words and phrases at will (much to the chagrin of the Queen), but get on a soapbox when an "e" is added to whisky, in order to spell it correctly?...oi vey...I guess some words and phrases are sacrosanct in Scotland, like  "I think it's still your round, mate"...lol
