The whole family had great musical talent. Mickey Gilley and Jimmy Swaggart his cousins excelled in other styles of music. Mickey was country while Swaggart was a preacher who played the gospel music with Jerry's flair on the piano. They all made some poor decisions in their life but as Lucky said they should me remembered for their great musical talent and not for their private lives.
